Who are we looking for?
You have a Master’s in Finance, Business Administration or related
You have at least 3 years of experience in controlling or financial audit in an international service-oriented industry, exposure to a media or creative advertising agency will be considered a plus
You speak fluent Dutch & English with a good working knowledge of French
You are efficient, detail-oriented and highly organized
You can multi-task and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
You are good with all tools beyond the Microsoft shizzle
You have critical thinking skills to dig into data
You are eager and willing to learn
You demonstrate problem-solving skills, take initiative, and consistently add value
You command and foster an environment of respect and trust
You can demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, & work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Your tasks
Handle the cash forecasting process including the monthly cash reporting and cash landing exercise
Monitor the accounts receivables and follow-up with clients as needed together with the accounting department
Assist in the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process including variances analysis and trends identification
Support and actively participate in the budgeting process;
Work closely with the business to develop and refine revenue projections
Conduct monthly reviews of all financial activity: identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, reconcile intercompany accounts, and record journal entries
Provide financial insight on financial performance against budget
Handle the yearly budget process and periodic forecasting process
Act as business sparring partner with the CEO & CFO on various topics
Assist with the internal and external audits
Insure that all group policies and contractual engagements with clients and suppliers are respected
Provide ad hoc analyses & reports as required
Present the financial results to the CFO on a monthly basis for all relevant accounts
